WOW! Caleb will be two years old before we know it!
Mama's really tired this morning. So Papa will finish this update:
Caleb is sick....
But not near as bad and often as he has been. (yes, this is papa...)
Caleb is now around 21 months old. Developmentally he isn't souring ahead but we have had some fun break-throughs.
First is some words...It is always fun for him to come out with a clear word or two.
He'll say Amen, which was his first word.
Chicken
Ball
Baby
Juice
Then other random words throughout the day.
He and Jakob are playing better. They still act like brothers. Half the time Jakob wants Caleb to play with him, the rest of time, he can't stand to have Caleb in the same room.
He loves to play with the many trucks and cars he got for Christmas and will just play with his imagination. (unless someone else is available then he'll beg us to play with him) He also loves to be outside. Often he will run to my arms and then point outside then gets really upset if I don't take him there.
Caleb has also been semi-successfully sleeping in the same room as Jakob at nights. They go down fine, and normally don't bother each other during the night but it is the mornings that are hard. One will wake up, normally to early, and need something. The other then will respond and say "Hey I want to wake up too" Sure enough both are up way before our liking.
Lastly, there are to other loves of Caleb, other then the bestest mother of course. They are books and his binky. He loves both together. In fact he want his binky most of the time, sleep time, meal time, changing time...
Just as another note, Nursery at church isn't a big hit yet. Occasionally he will get distracted and enjoy nursery without any of us there, but mostly he will play as long as we are there and start crying if we leave.
Anyway, sorry for the babbling, but this is his little up date. We love him and really enjoy his sweet spirit.
