He's 11 Months

Our Caleb is almost 11 months. Time flies when you're having fun!! Caleb is feeling much better after his bout with RSV. I am so glad that it wasn't worse then it could have been. I have heard many sad stories about RSV.

I'm trying to get Caleb's weight back up and steadily increasing. He lost a bit when he was sick. He still nurses several times throughout the day and a couple few times throughout the night. He has no problem eating food these days. The last couple of dinners he's enjoyed a Garden Burger. He really prefers being able to feed himself. So I'm going to make some different foods that he can feed himself throughout the day (other then Cheerios and Gerber Puffs.)

Caleb is finally showing signs of trying to pull himself up to things. He prefers hangin' out on his knees. It's not unusual to see him kneeling up to a box or a shelf exploring this or that. He prefers the rocking chair ottoman. He'll bring his toys over, set them on the ottoman and play with them. This is good because the ottoman rocks a bit and it gives him practice with his balance.

Caleb is our wrestler. I honestly will not be surprised if he wrestles in school some day. It is just in his nature. He loves to wrestle with Jakob. Jakob is rough sometimes too. It's hard for me to just sit back and let them play.

I feel truly blessed to have Caleb right now. He is such a peaceful baby! I marvel every day about how blessed I am. It is not very often that Caleb insists on me stopping what I am doing to just be with him. He is content most of the time to explore the world around him and let me do my thing. He sleeps a lot still too. He has at least 3 naps each day. I feel truly blessed!! We love our precious Caleb. The only thing is, he makes us baby hungry! Dangerous!!;)
