My Baby is almost a Toddler...
Caleb is already over ten months old. I still find that hard to believe!

Caleb has the most amazing laugh. I am thrilled to say that I am one person that can get him to laugh his gutts out! Ohhh how I Love his laugh!!

Well, Caleb eats around two baby food meals each day. He will now eat almost anything. He still nurses a good three times throughout the day. But after praying to find something that he will drink out of a bottle, I am happy to report that I was inspired to have him try soy milk (not to be confused with soy formula) He likes the refrigerated blend of soy milk and he'll take that for a drink here and there. So that has been nice. His sleeping schedule is still unusual. But I've concluded that it is supposed to be this way. Caleb still nurses around three times each night. But on the nights that he doesn't I struggle with insomnia. Interesting, but true.

I feel so blessed with my children. I don't feel weighed down by them. I know how that feeling feels. And I feel blessed not to feel this way. Caleb enjoys exploring. But he (like his brother at that age) doesn't feel a need to be destructive. He LOVES Jakob's room and being anywhere that Jakob is. Luckily, we have a very small home. So we can do a "safety sweep" a few times a day and I can let Caleb roam freely. Jakob knows that if his door is open Caleb is allowed to play with no boundaries. If Jakob doesn't feel like sharing, he shuts the door. This is a picture of a night when we put Jakob to bed before Caleb. Caleb crawled over to Jakob's door and called to Jakob. He even turned around and tried to push the door open with his back. It was so cute!! Caleb will be thrilled to share a room with Jakob.
Caleb is just content to be a little one. I am wondering when he will routinely pull himself up to things and cruise. Walking is a Long ways off. Teeth... not sure about them either. But I'm not worried and the doctor isn't worried. Caleb is following a similar developmental pattern as Jakob. I don't mind. I like my babies. However, I think it would be good to have Caleb walking well before I'm PG again. But we'll see...
Can you believe Caleb's BLUES EYES? And THAT SMILE!!!??
