Caleb has had an infection in both ears this week. He's had a fever for a few days, pulls on his ears, lost his appetite, and slept a lot for the last four days. His fever broke yesterday and he's doing a lot better. I haven't taken him to the doctor for the last couple/few ear infections. He seems to be able to fight them off. I did however, call and get an appointment to see a specialist about having tubes put in his ears. I'm weary of the infections. I wish I would have put tubes in Jakob's ears. He had infections continuously until he was 2 years old.

Hey I just remembered something that Dairus told me about a lady he worked with. She had two sons quite a few years apart. The younger one was having lots of ear infections and the doctor said the the tubes would help him talk better because when they are infants they learn by hearing and not having them would cause the learning to be garbled. It was then that it hit her that her older son was in speech therapy and had been for some time he also had had many ear infections but no tube.
