Little Guy Finally Eats His Food

My little one has finally decided that eating real food isn't as bad as he thought. I started to notice that he was enjoying sucking on crackers and things. So I got the little Gerber dissolving cracker bits for him to gum. We used those for a week or so and tried each night to get him to eat baby food. After trying each night he's finally very interested and ate the most he's eaten in one sitting tonight (a whole jar.:) Now my job is to take the time to feed him more often. Wish me luck, I wasn't very good at this stage with Jakob. It's a lot easier when they can eat the food by themselves.:)
Caleb is a delight. He and Jakob love playing with each other (most of the time. Caleb just smashed Jakob's paper airplane:) But Jakob can make Caleb laugh so hard, sometimes he'll fall over. It is so sweet to hear their precious interactions. Jakob keeps saying, "I'm so glad we have Caleb." Jakob also keeps asking us when we're going to have more babies. Or he'll tell me how many more kid's we're going to have. It's usually according to how many toys he has out at the moment. Something tells me we won't be having that many kid's:)

Caleb is still pretty easy going. If he feels up to it he'll sit for a long time and play with the toys out of his bucket. If we're out and about the hardest part is usually just lugging his car seat in and out of the car. One of the unique things that he does happens when he eats. Either when he's nursing or even when we're feeding him. Many times he is very active. He'll kick his legs and pound his hands. Sometimes he even tries to swing his head back and forth. I put a stop to that when he's nursing;)
We Love having Caleb in our family!
