Garlic Can Increase The Risk Of Bruising

If you read my previous post you will know that I shared a recipe for GOOT. It is a home remedy salve that has garlic in it. I do believe that it is an effective tool to help us when we need it. But, I have found that you have to use it very sparingly with infants. I used it for my 3 month old baby and by the second evening of having it in his blood stream I found noticeable bruises on the inside of his thighs. I am guessing it is from his cars eat belt. That's all I can figure.

But my point is that the bruising is from the garlic. garlic is a blood thinner. Most of the time this is a good thing. But when the blood is thin it is able to leak out of broken capillaries a lot faster. Bruising isn't usually a cause for alarm. But I still think it's a good idea to limit your use of GOOT when using it on an infant.

When was Caleb born? It seems as though we may have had our boys really close together.
